Some of the biggest names in Australian music and comedy were up close and personal in the pubs, bars and clubs of Sydney’s beachside town, Manly, from Wednesday 17 August to Sunday 28 August 2022.

Encore Manly saw more than 60 musical artists and comedians on stage across more than 20 local Manly venues over the two week period.

Kids and families were also treated with some of the greatest ever Australian characters making an appearance by the beach!

Diverse genres, legends of Australian music and comedy and rising stars were among the Encore Manly line-up.

Manly resident and INXS member Kirk Pengilly was proud to be the ‘front man’ for Encore Manly, which is the latest on a packed calendar of festivals and events making Manly a hot new destination for Sydneysiders and visitors alike. “Encore Manly is aimed squarely at bringing live music, live comedy, live family entertainment to the great venues we have here by the harbour and the beach,” said Kirk.

“Music brings people together and, as I always remember being told as a kid, music is the universal language. Entertainment in general - comedy, music- it brings people together.“ I think that’s really important now for all of us to come back together again and be social and hang out.”

Encore Manly was the brainchild of Experience Manly, a local non-profit tourism organisation dedicated to the strategic recovery and growth of Manly’s tourism economy, and was proudly funded by the NSW Government.
